making my week: "la vie en rose" playing softly in the airport, feeling angie's belly for baby kicks and flutters, vintage circus poster stamps, black tea with milk, that t. swift dance party, witnessing firsthand the spirit and pluck of the children of friends, those few hours between his going away and my coming home when we overlapped in our city, and staying up late to talk with her, bowls of ice cream and 25 years of friendship between us.
