sip, stir, clink.


we've had such fun growing our bar cart these past few weeks. we were gifted beautiful bourbon and tumblers for our wedding and we added a gilded shaker and an oversized ice cube tray at christmas.

on friday afternoon, i tried my hand at rosemary & sour cherry old fashioneds. i've been experimenting with making my own simple syrups -- such as this one, of the rosemary persuasion -- and these were just the thing for welcoming husband home from a long week away, for welcoming our weekend with a bit of splendid celebration. a new friday tradition set sail, methinks.
