weekend.

 

a venture out into the rain for errands and pizza, iced cappuccinos and a wander in riverside park, a lady date for me, a brother date for him. for sunday supper, a bubbling pot of chili -- because if april's going to act a fool and snow, there will be chili. 

if you ask me, the best weekends are those spent out and about -- busy in the daylight -- then cozy and content at home in the evening hours. i prefer to find us snug in our treehouse, spinning records or watching films and talking, always talking -- the city buzzing about, just beyond the window.
