oh what fun, hosting lady friends for a day of baking and eggnog, holiday records and an ornament exchange. we got elbow deep in flour and powdered sugar in the name of gingerbread and shortbread, and talked the afternoon away. when friends make themselves at home in my home, it fills me to the brim with joy.
