the first snow.


walking home, it occurred to me that even snow has a smell. delicate, graceful, and not terribly unlike a fresh bar of ivory soap or the crisp pages of a new paperback.

  9. Wow, what beautiful words to describe snow. We're from Australia so haven't experienced snow in a city like this. We visited New York in summer and it's so hard to imagine it snowing!
