from life lately. 

this was the week that i....

discovered the joy of grocery shopping with a friend (because domestic tasks are usually me time, but sometimes the more really is the merrier). 

went to harlem for the best fried chicken around (because it's been staring at me from my list for almost a year now and a year is too long to wait for fried chicken). 

was very good about staying on top of my phone calls and emails (because i promised i would and i meant what i said). 

made a paper chain countdown (because it was raining out. and because it makes the wait more fun).
