a postcard.

from the shakespeare garden.

some things are worth taking the long way home for. this little garden is one of them.

it's stunning with flowers shakespeare mentioned in his plays and favored in his own garden. there is even a white mulberry grafted from his garden in stratford-upon-avon.

the plantings change with the seasons, but i like it most as it is now. just feels right for summer, you know?

  1. i forgot to mention to you as well that in my daydreaming there is a gigantic garden {in my yard} that i have all of my clients come to for portraits and my kids play all day in it otherwise using their imagination. you are constantly posting some awesome flowers for me to plant in it!
