blog friends become real friends.

angie and i met through our blogs and decided to take our relationship to the next level yesterday when we met for lunch at bouchon bakery. two delicious sandwiches later, we grabbed chocolate and pistachio macaroons and headed for the park.

i am still getting used to this being my life now. as in, walking through central park after lunch, like it's no big deal while i'm thinking, oh but it is such a big deal!

it was really neat to finally meet angie in person and sort of strange, too, since we already knew so much about each other's lives at our first real meeting! this blogging thing is great.

the afternoon left me reveling in the knowledge that i am one week in and have already found a girlfriend to share cooking, photography, and central park with. off to a good start, methinks.

  1. I am so happy we met! I just love you! Thanks for taking some pics to document the dinner, I was a little distracted. :) I'm so glad you came!

Oh and I noticed we took a lot of similar pictures, except yours are WAY better! You have inspired me to put a little more thought into my photography. I've gotten lazy. Your pictures are awesome!

  3. I just love your blog, Alexa! I linked over from Angie's. Guess what-- I met Angie through blogging too! We had our girls' night out when I was in NYC back in March-- so much fun! (We went to Serendipity...)

You are going to have such a great time doing things with Angie (and Klane). I wish you all the best in your new life in NYC!
