the chill and rain persisted, and it was a quiet season. i liked it such a way. we've been getting so much good time together at home, cooking and reading and watching our favorite shows. i also love an early bedtime. so life's been good.
this was our newlywed spring of: market bouquets. mango sticky rice. dates for pad thai and 1984 on broadway, sticky buns and hot coffee before work. committing treasures to our baby box. spinning the soundtrack to la la land again and again. jónsi's humming, too. fleeing to central park with paperbacks and crepes any day that sun did shine. rising with the songbirds to write (me). playing soccer on tuesdays (him). living weekends slow and refreshing our souls for summer (us).
