working long, playing hard, renewing our passports, booking summer travels, facetiming with angie on my lunch breaks in washington square, baking poptarts because sunday, counting down minutes to megan & mike's visit in may, rejoicing in the news of friends' babes, reading our way through the evenings, chopping fresh parsley & adoring how it smells like earth, waking to birdsong, meeting at 72nd street for iced lattes & blossom peeping, planning erin's bridal weekend, drinking in spring -- we're living the best of it, it does not get better. this is life lately.
