the first spring days in washington square.

i started writing for a creative agency awhile ago and my office is near washington square. among the joys: morning strolls in the park while i chat with my papa, the food trucks and coffeehouses that herald university life, and lunches in the park.

one day last week, i picked up a bagel from murray's on sixth avenue -- their blt with avocado is the best i have found -- and perched awhile. dusty pink blossoms danced against a steel grey sky and it was a moment for people watching from the park benches and tapping my toes to the music. you can always, always count on the music men of washington square.
