on sunday we took naps that stretched into the afternoon and met patrick, laura, and baby ella for an evening walk around harlem meer and through the conservatory garden. we talked about parenting and easter plans and summer travels, and drank in each other's company and the particular beauty of central park at the five o'clock hour with spring on the tip of her tongue. i hope these walks as a family become woven into the fabric of our sundays, and see us right into picnic season.
