on our fourth date of christmas, we revisited a perennial favorite -- ice skating in bryant park and a stop by doughnut plant for marzipan and manhattan cream.

bryant park this time of year is always special to us, for it was this time of year when we first started dating and a lot of our earliest dates happened in and around bryant park -- first date drinks at the bryant park hotel, that monday when he came to my office by the park for a quick afternoon coffee just before i left for the airport to visit south carolina for thanksgiving. we watched the ice skaters twirling around the rink and i knew he liked me an awful lot, to carve out time in the middle of the day like that, and i knew i liked him an awful lot, too. and look at us now! two years on and five weeks married, right back where it all began.
