earlier this week, we celebrated our very own christmas morning at home before flying south to spend the holidays -- and two whole weeks!! -- with family & friends. it was a tad bittersweet leaving our tiny, cozy christmas treehouse -- when we're back, down will come our knit stockings and twinkling tree -- but how merry it was, waking up slow, pouring the french press, exchanging small & thoughtful gifts, spinning the nutcracker suite, bundling into our coats, walking down the avenue for cinnamon french toast, celebrating our first married christmas.
