my sweet fiancé (!!!) planned an engagement weekend of dreams. he brought our families together to celebrate and sent me wedding dress shopping with the mamas while he played a round of golf with the papas. there was louis armstrong and time together in the kitchen, an afternoon by the pool and a whole lot of bubbly. i don't often use this word, but it was...perfect.
and all the while, christy snapped away, capturing the utter joy and emotion of the weekend and gifting me these incredible photographs to keep and love forever. what treasures they are!
if i could save these days in small glass jars with airtight lids, i would. i'd line a room with them, i would.

ReplyDeleteAnd for some reason that photo of you and Chris in his golf attire gave me a flash forward to you two as a married couple in 20 years - I can just see you two together years from now with kids of your own, still spending time with family and still so happy together.
