scenes from yesterday in columbia. i drove down early in the morning for a few work meetings and didn't have much time to explore, but what i did have, i made count. i popped into the wired goat for a lavender latte, caught up with an old friend from college over sushi, did a drive by of the coffeeshop i once worked in, and picked up an oatmeal cream pie from rise for the road. it was sunny and 70 and the blossoms were bursting. it was nice to feel spring on my skin, if only for a few hours.
