topsail island, part i.

we spent the long weekend on topsail island. the house was beautiful, with wide porches overlooking the ocean and a table big enough for us all to gather around. we spent our mornings sharing coffee and conversation and our days on the beach, napping and paddleboarding and playing in the waves. evenings found us barefoot and salty skinned, in the kitchen with music or at the table telling stories. and i picked up a sidekick over the weekend, a sassy four year old with a crush on my boyfriend :)
