autumn in new york is marked by street fairs. across neighborhoods, nearly every weekend, festivals of food, music, and crafts line the avenues. i love how they bring all of us out into the gorgeous weather to delight in our city and mingle together before winter sends us running inside.
this weekend, friends and i went to atlantic antic in brooklyn. it was such a good time, just like we remembered from last year. we weaved in and out of the sea of people spilling down atlantic avenue for hours, snacking on fried oreos and sipping fresh coconut water. and, of course, i had to go for the grilled corn. i've been waiting for that corn all year.
