emory came up from virginia and we spent the long weekend on brunches, park walks, and a rainy afternoon at the met. it was really lovely to have her here. our conversations come so easy and several times we found ourselves laughing until our mascara was a glorious mess. on sunday night, we took a picnic to an outdoor showing of breakfast at tiffany's down at the seaport. it was one of those dreamy nights that i love about summer in new york.
