yesterday i turned 26. this one feels big. all i really wanted for my birthday was to eat cake and watch it snow. i got both, plus champagne at midnight, a million balloons in my office, flowers and notes and treats throughout the day, and a lovely dinner out surrounded by friends. my parents arrive tonight and the celebration continues into the weekend, and all i can think about is how immeasurably rich my life is and the many people who make it so. my heart.
