there is just so much magic in this season. magic in fairy lights and mornings at home and window wreaths with big, red bows. magic in snow—the wild, fluffy kind. magic in finding that record, nestled among the many in a dusty corner shop. magic in a mailbox, filled to the brim with warm wishes. magic in feeling pretty in a party dress. magic in the sounds—bells and voices and silence, too. magic in peace, in comfort, in joy.
