i had such a wonderful weekend with my dad here in town. mostly we just walked all over and ate delicious food and talked. and it was the little things—quiet breakfasts and a belated birthday cake and his insistence upon making a repair or two around my apartment and nights spent with my dearest friends—always the little things. i so adore those sweet times when i get to show him around this space, this life, that i am building.
so sweet + special. that building artwork is amazing! sounds like a perfect weekend.
