my family was visiting and i liked that day we ended up in park slope, that night we had halal food on sixth avenue, and the glow on their faces as they saw the city lit for christmas for the very first time. but mostly i liked introducing them to where i spend my saturdays and who i spend them with, and watching them love the nooks and little details of this place. there really are so many.
I can't get over the serendipitous meeting of your parents. :) I feel like I alreadly left you a comment about it, but they were so sweet. I'm glad you've had such a long visit with them! I think they go home today...? Can't wait to see more posts of your time together.
