thankful to be back on my feet after a few long days under the covers with toast and tea and christmas movies (it sounds like vacation; it really wasn't).
thankful that i didn't have to make my own soup after all. my sweet friends have overwhelmed me with love over the past few days, showing up on my doorstep with soup and fruit and magazines. as one said, "friends in the city are family." we really are, aren't we?
