one whole month.

i have called nyc home for one month now.

crazy, huh?

it is hard for me to believe it's been four weeks already.

but then i think about how, in those four weeks, i have explored the city with my dad, started a new job, lived on megan's couch for a week, moved into a sublet studio, found a family to babysit for, eaten at a secret restaurant in a brooklyn loft, found a studio of my own, welcomed christy and kara to visit, received a big box of love,  ridden a bike all over manhattan, memorized the subway map, made a handful of new friends, and watched the summer fade into fall.

and it seems like much longer than that.

  3. Wow, I can't believe it's already been a whole month! But then, at the same time, it feels like it's been forever. I'm so glad you're here!

Where are these pics taken from? The babysitting family's building? Nice view!

  4. Such cool pics! I swear NY looks like someone just placed different sized blocks all over a Monopoly board. Oh and by the way, thanks for buying your brother the new electronic monopoly and then leaving me to be the one to have to play it with him all the time. Just wait til you have kids! XOXO

  5. Angie, I got to babysitting early one afternoon and took full advantage of the cityscape :)

And Christy, I already fear how much you will spoil my future children before sending them back to me! :)
