back when we traveled south for thanksgiving, dear family and friends showered us with treasures for baby across a beautiful november afternoon. it meant so much to spend time surrounded by women who have loved and influenced and encouraged me from my childhood and growing up years into this sweetest of seasons — my motherhood.
hot air balloons, cupcakes and mimosas and mint pecans and quiche, beautiful books for baby's library — our sweet hostesses made every detail so lovely, so meaningful, so entirely us. we looked at each other over and over to say, i feel so known! and there just really aren't words for how deeply it moves me that baby is already so cherished and so celebrated by ones we love so. it delights me endlessly to think of baby meeting our people — scattered south and north and west and beyond — soon, soon, soon.
