...& we're off!

we spent our first married morning in new york city sipping espresso in paper cups and rowing across the lake in central park. it is a bright and brilliant day, a wedding gift from our city herself -- we've returned home to autumn bursting forth in full, wild flame.

tonight we fly to spend two weeks driving along the dalmatian coast. it's a dream we've dreamt together -- traveling together as husband and wife, just him and me and the adriatic sea.

we'll be so excited to return home and slow life down as we head into the holidays. but first, we are honeymooners in croatia.
