while new york was buried under more than two feet of snow, i was in sunny & sixty austin for work. chris and i traded a plethora of selfies -- him, in a parka; me, in a t-shirt. i didn't love missing the blizzard, but i do love austin, texas and all its quirks and color. the last time i was in town, it was for carson and megan's wedding two aprils ago. how fun it was, revisiting places i enjoyed then and getting the grand tour from them now.

+ bbq at county line
+ mexican vanilla ice cream at amy's
+ sunset over austin from the 360 overlook
sadly, sno-beach was closed for the winter, but no matter. i will be back, hopefully next time with my christopher in tow. until next time, austin!
