i lost a good friend last week and we went down to bucks county over the weekend to celebrate his beautiful life. afterwards, we took a peaceful sunday drive to see what we could see.

and what we could see was this: treetops, bursting into flames. where washington crossed the delaware. whimsical homes perched like dollhouses on streets with names like afton and canal. the house where chris was little, the hill where he went sledding, the room where he learned piano. wawa, with one dollar coffees calling our names. our new york city, glittering from afar, calling us home.

  1. sending you hugs. what a lovely way to remember a life. x

  2. I'm sorry to hear about your friend. Glad you hand a chance to escape and see such a gorgeous fall outside the city.
