last week, book club went to chomp chomp for singaporean hawker food. over oyster omelets, beef roti, curry chicken, and prawns, we five discussed crazy rich asians. it was a light, funny read—perfect for these hazy, deep summer days. we are all excited for the sequel and, in the meantime, i WILL be going back to chomp chomp for another pina cha cha. rum, coconut milk, palm sugar, and pineapple juice. yes, please.
