weekend.

it's been so much fun to have amanda in town for the last few days. we met here in new york almost five years ago when we were just babies fresh out of college and she has since moved all over the place (hawaii! budapest! palo alto!). spending a long weekend back together in our city visiting old haunts and exploring brand new ones has been an absolute blast. i really love this girl and her joyful, adventurous spirit. 

a few favorites from the weekend: a girls' morning out with angie (her first since the babies arrived!), a sunny walk along the high line, the kale chicken caesar salad from sweetgreen followed by the tres leches cake doughnut from doughnut plant (because balance), riding the tram to roosevelt island, catching a sunset from the top of the rock, sharing meatballs and the vodka pie at rubirosa, and the sweetest sunday picnic under the cherry blossoms.
