to do in nyc | sunday afternoon.

i often receive emails requesting ideas for things to see and do around new york, so i thought it would be fun to start a series of my personal tried-and-true favorites.

first up, a longtime and beloved ritual of mine.

wander: the metropolitan museum of art (82nd street and fifth avenue)
relax: cafe sabarsky (86th street and fifth avenue, inside the neue galerie)

wind through central park, spend a few quiet hours meandering the met, and end up around the corner at cafe sabarsky (inspired by turn of the century viennese coffeehouses) for a hot chocolate and the sunday times. hands down, one of the loveliest ways i know to spend a sunday. any day, really.

  2. Actually, I really do not need this resource since I have my own private guide who takes me to all her tried-and true favorites! :) Lucky me!

  4. So glad you're doing this! I was actually thinking yesterday, Gosh, wish I could spend my days off the way Alexa does! And then became anxious about picking the just-right spots! So, thank you!

  5. I've wanted to live in NYC for as long as I can remember, and this series is just going to prompt it even more.
