saturday brought a jaunt over to the rockaways, fish tacos and fresh coconut water, a few hours of sand and waves, and an ice cream cone for the walk back to the train. i find it pretty amazing that a day like this - such a welcomed change of pace - is only a subway ride from the tangle of city. well done, new york.
