a couple of mornings in hot springs, i woke with my baby cousin to let my aunt and uncle sleep in. lillie is quite attached to her mama, so it was nice to have her full attention and spend time talking with her and watching ducks. lillie at nearly two years old is full of spirit.

and those moments when she would reach up for my hand or say "watch!" or call out my name in her sweet, only slightly raspy, perfect voice? so good. i mean, so, so good.
