lilacs.


may was strangely moody around these parts—often chilly and rainy and quiet and grey. fresh, cheerful flowers brightened things up a bit, even if only from my table, and somehow, already, tomorrow is june.

    ahh so so pretty! i have been obsessed with lilacs this spring! they are so perfect! and yes....seriously...how is it june tomorrow!?!

    My grandmother had lilacs in her yard when I was growing up. There is no flower smell that compares!
