it's a snowy morning in nyc, the kind best spent lingering at home over breakfast and coffee. alas, that's not in the cards today, but i was blessed with a similar morning while in colorado last week, so i am choosing to focus on that...
we woke up slow. sipping coffee and catching up on
the new yorker and
chatting with
elizabeth's mom. in those moments, life slowed down and we were able to be completely there, together in that cozy kitchen, while the snow lay quietly outside. bliss.
i could use that kind of morning. each single day :)
ReplyDeleteMom's cooking never looked so good! (Though it's always delicious) Ellin, you should keep Moyer around :)

The morning described is the best. I normally need to plan for an unproductive day though because I am never very ambitious after starting my day slow. That being said, its essential to unwind now and again.
