my saturday morning ritual involves an early walk to joe for coffee or tea. it's becoming especially nice now that the sun is out and the flower stands are back. joe is one of the gems of my neighborhood. their coffee, tea, and espresso are some of my favorite in the city, and they have just enough tables to make you feel welcome, but few enough that the experience is a cozy one. i am currently loving their chai latte, and a walk through my neighborhood in the quiet busy of a saturday morning is, i believe, the very best way to start any weekend.
Oh I loved Joe AND the cool office they have above the counter! Those pink flowers look like bells and they don't look real! Ah...lovely, lovely NYC spring!
