mentionables.

New Yorkers love their dogs. They love their dogs like other people love their kids. I often see dogs wearing raincoats and shoes (yes.) and riding around town in baby carriages, so seeing this at the laundromat on Saturday didn't surprise me, but it sure made me giggle....


I am currently re-reading the Harry Potter series, which bodes well for my constant wish to feel cozy these days. It also leads to weekends like the one I just had, where I alternated between reading, napping, and taking long walks in the park. 

December was busy; January is quiet. I like it this way; it feels like winter should. After such a busy holiday season, it's really nice to curl up with hot tea and a book and just be.

    Oh man, New Yorkers and their dogs. Ohhhh man. I don't think I can comment on that without being mean. I walk in the park every morning and it is full of dog owners, so I see all kinds. ALL kinds. I really can't say any more.... signing off!
